Happy Birthday Ada!
It's the birthday of Ada Lovelace the first computer programmer today and reading the New Yorker magazine's typically well written article about her from 2013 is a very appropriate way of celebrating. Her birthday reminds us that it is particularly sad that there are still far too few women in the technology industries.
